The Ladies teams were set up by Faith Folley in the 2008-09 season. The Ladies 1st XI won promotion as champions in the 2011/12 season under the captaincy of Lisa Whitten and now play in the A league and are captained by Kath Hooper. The 1st Xl have been gaining momentum since starting 4 years ago and are confident they can compete at the higher level of the A league. The 2nd XI play in the Northumberland Women's Hockey League B and is only their second season in existence The ladies 2nd Xl first entered league hockey last season captained by Liz Lewis-Barned. This season they are captained by Sara Vardy.
Ladies training takes place on Monday evenings from 7-8.30pm at the Centre for Sport on The West Road (view directions).
