The new season is almost here! We're so excited to get stuck into another great season of Hockey and what better way to kick it off than with a day together to get going for the new year.

President's Day will offer a chance for Hockey for all ages and all abilities. It's a great opportunity to invite friends who are new to the game or coming back to the game after a time away. There will also be a start of season social, a great chance to catch up with everyone after a Summer apart!

As part of the day we're taking part in Hockeyfest, an England Hockey initiative to open up the clubs to new players, do be thinking who you could invite. There'll also be some #hockeyfest goodies to give out (that's right, I'm talking transferable tattoos!)

The day will be at our regular home pitch at Heaton Manor School

The details of the day are as follows:

1000 - 1200 - Family Hockey, a chance for our Juniors to play with their families - a mix of fun games, skills and drills and the all important parents vs kids game!

1300 - 1500 - Pre-season training session for senior players and anyone who plays league hockey, skills and drills for players of all abilities followed by a mixed mini-tournament.

1800 - 2100 - Start of season BBQ at the Lewis-Barned's! (full details here)

Cost to cover pitch hire:

Juniors: £2 for individual players or £5 per family
Seniors: £5 per player
