COVID-19
Details are all over this site, keep looking at the news page for updates. At the moment we're expecting our Ladies' 1s, Men's 2s & Men's 3s to play their first league matches on 3rd October, and our Ladies' 2s on 10th October. Our Men's 1s should start around that time. All teams have pre-season games before then.

If you're thinking of joining us, you're welcome to come & give us a try for a bit to see if you like playing with us, but before playing any hockey this year, England Hockey want you to fill in this online participation agreement, to make tracing easier in the event of another outbreak.

If you have symptoms/are isolating, please don’t come to sessions, we'll still be here when you're feeling better.

TRAINING
Training starts on Monday 7th September, at Heaton Manor, directions are here. It's every Monday night in the school term, 1900-2030. Ladies head for the bottom pitch, men for the top pitch, if you're new please introduce yourself to whoever you see first, as long as they're not new too they can help you find your way round. If you're not new, please feel free to bring along friends or colleagues that you think might want to have a go at hockey; we offer the first few training sessions for free for those who want to try out the club.

Social hockey - RGS is currently not taking bookings until at least after October half term so for now these sessions will not run. We've got some games planned, the first was last Saturday, the next is this Saturday. Keep an eye on the club's social media for updates. In the meantime, if you want to come to training on a Monday, get in touch & we'll sort something out.

Juniors - our junior sessions won't start until at least October half-term, as RGS is currently not taking bookings. Members will get details by e-mail, we have a short waiting list, so if your child is not a member and wishes to play, contact us.

MEMBERSHIP FEES
Senior Membership is needed by everyone playing league hockey. Fees are the same as last year:
Adults - £167
Under 25 - £130
Student / Under 18 / Unwaged - £90
Ages as at 1st September.
Match fees are £6 per game.

Social membership is paid through session fees.

We appreciate these are unprecedented times. As a club we don’t want finance to be a barrier to hockey so want to be flexible if this helps. Please have a chat to one of the secretaries or the treasurer if money is an issue.

KIT
Our playing kit consists of navy & yellow quarters, navy shorts/skirts and navy & yellow socks. We usually provide shirts, due to Covid 19 we will rent them to people who don't own their own, for a £15 cash deposit.
We're doing a club kit order for adult home shirts, and training tops & bobble hats in adult and junior sizes. If you've not received information and would like to order, contact us by 21st September.
