A brief reminder of what's currently running & not running at the moment.

We are still playing hockey! As an organized sport, league hockey is still on, three of our teams have their first league games this coming Saturday, the other two the week after.

New players: you are very welcome! If you've never played before, & are keen to get out & do some Covid-safe social exercise, that includes you! Send us a message, or just turn up on a Monday evening with stick, shin pads & gum shield. To keep everyone Covid-safe, before you do you'll need to fill in the England Hockey participation agreement. You only need to do this once for all of the club's activities. When you do arrive, we'll have to take your name & a contact number for tracing.

Just a reminder, whilst we love having people come & watch our matches, venue rules currently prohibit spectators, that includes everyone not part of the matchday squads in a playing, coaching or umpiring capacity. We hope to see you back at Heaton Manor soon!

What's On:
We're currently running our Saturday teams & Monday training for our league teams. We currently haven't got access to the RGS pitch, so we don't expect to be running any junior sessions until at least half-term.
For the same reason, Social skills sessions & Tuesday matches are currently off, but keep an eye on the site & our Facebook Page for any one-off matches. If you'd be coming along to Social & are really missing hockey, get in touch & we can fit you in to Monday training until the Tuesday sessions start again.
Everything we do together that doesn't involve playing hockey is currently suspended, so no match tea, no social events.
