The first Jesmond Parish Church Hockey team was founded in 2002. Since then, as well as forming the basis for a club that has grown hugely, the Men's 1sts have gone from strength to strength. Their highest-placed finish was 4th in North League Division 3 (North East), in 2019/20. They now play in YNE Men's North East 1.
