2 minutes into the first half Rose Nicholson scored the first goal of the game. Unfortunately we soon gave away short corners from which Tynedale scored 2 goals. By half time the score was 4-1 to Tynedale.

However, in the second half we came back stronger with the team defending well together and attacking as a team. Laura Clifton then scored from a strike in the D, mid-way through the second half. Unfortunately we conceded one more goal before full time making the score 5-2 to Tynedale.

Overall we played well as a team, despite the unfamiliarity of playing with new teammates and it being the first match of the season.

Hi guys
This Saturday's game is at home, meet at 9.30 in the changing rooms (changing room 3/4?). Kit is blue and yellow tops which are provided but please wear navy shorts/skort and yellow and blue home socks or navy socks if you don't have them. If you have spare socks please bring them. Please also bring £5 match fees.
Please get in touch if you need lifts and let me know if you can't stay for teas after which are at jesmond cricket club, otherwise I'll expect to see you there.
